Nicholas joined XXIV Old Buildings in 1984 as a Practice Manager. He was appointed Practice Director in January 1987 and has been actively involved in the strategic development of Chambers since then.
Nicholas “has developed a very strong following as one of the most switched-on and thoughtful practice directors at the Bar today” (Chambers & Partners). He works closely with the Management Committee, the Practice Management Team and all the barristers to deliver a high level of service to all our clients and merit the accolade that XXIV Old Buildings is “exceptionally well run” (Legal 500). His overall responsibility for the running of Chambers give him responsibility for instigating and delivering agreed business strategies; maintaining and developing client relationships as well as managing and leading the Practice Management Team.
Nicholas studied Management at Reading University and is a full member of the Legal Practice Managers Association (LPMA). He is also a member of INSOL .
